This set of four model 205 chairs, designed in the 1960s by Thomas Harlev for Farstrup Møbler, is a testament to Scandinavian modernism in its pure, minimalist form. The frames are crafted from solid teak wood with a matte-satin finish that accentuates the natural grain and warm brown tones, subtly tinged with red. The legs are splayed and gently taper downwards, connected by horizontal stretchers for stability and a sense of airy lightness. The seats and softly curved backrests are newly upholstered in a light beige fabric—a blend of linen, cotton, and viscose—whose texture recalls the original materials of the era. Every detail, from precisely crafted joints to the even, taut upholstery, reflects the high standards of Danish craftsmanship. The set has been fully restored: old finishes were removed, the wood refreshed and sealed, and the seat foam replaced for comfort and longevity. The chairs are in excellent, restored condition—free from signs of wear or damage. The listed price is for the entire set of four chairs.
