This set of four Model 205 chairs is a hallmark of 1960s Danish design, created by Thomas Harlev for Farstrup Møbler. The frames are crafted from solid teak wood—fully restored, with old finishes removed, carefully stained, and lacquered to enhance the natural grain and showcase the deep, warm brown with a subtle reddish undertone. The legs are splayed and taper downwards, joined by horizontal stretchers that add stability and evoke the era’s distinctive lightness of form. Both the seats and the gently curved backrests are newly upholstered in a light beige fabric made from a linen, cotton, and viscose blend, featuring a soft, tactile weave reminiscent of original 1960s textiles. The foam padding has also been replaced, ensuring contemporary comfort. The set is in restored condition, with all structural and aesthetic elements faithful to the original project and period, and shows no signs of prior use or damage.
