This set of four model 205 chairs, designed by Thomas Harlev for Farstrup Møbler in Denmark and dating to the 1960s, is a refined example of mid-century modern Scandinavian design. The construction features solid teak frames in a warm brown hue with a subtle reddish undertone. The legs are distinctly tapered and gently splayed, lending the chairs a light, airy profile, while visible joints where the legs meet the seat and backrest highlight artisanal craftsmanship. The seats and backrests are newly upholstered in a beige fabric—a blend of linen, cotton, and viscose—evoking the textured weaves typical of the 1960s. The upholstery is smoothly finished with no visible seams or tufting, and the padding is even and resilient. The set underwent professional restoration: previous finishes were removed, the wood was stained and lacquered, and the authenticity of the original design was preserved.
