This set of four dining chairs, produced by Tatra Nabytok in Czechoslovakia in the 1960s, features sturdy wooden frames in a medium to dark brown tone with a subtle semi-gloss that accentuates the natural wood grain. The design is rooted in the mid-century modern idiom: each chair presents balanced proportions, gently rounded backrests with a wide horizontal top rail, and a row of slender, evenly spaced vertical spindles. The legs are tapered and rounded, joined by discrete stretchers for stability. Original upholstery in a muted olive green with yellowish undertones covers the seats, with a matte, wool-like texture. Minor wear, such as light fabric pressure marks and slight scuffs on the wood, speaks to the passage of time; nevertheless, the set remains fully authentic with original features and no structural damage or repair traces.
