This set of four Drumbo money boxes was designed by Luigi Colani in Italy during the 1970s for Dresdner Bank. Each box is crafted from smooth, high-gloss plastic—two in a vivid, warm tone of green, and two in a striking, slightly orange-tinged red. Compact in size (5 × 9 × 7 cm), they feature a minimalist, stylized elephant silhouette with gently rounded contours, subtly distinguished ears, and a clearly defined, upturned trunk. Each piece has a coin slot on the top, small dark blue or black eyes, and a precisely molded, uniformly shiny surface that catches and reflects the light, echoing the playful, retro-futuristic spirit of the period.
