This set of four high back dining chairs from the 1950s, designed by Dante Latorre for the Italian manufacturer Pozzi and Verga, exemplifies the postwar modernist approach to furniture. The sculptural, flame-shaped backrests are crafted from richly grained rosewood veneer in a deep espresso-brown hue with subtle warm undertones.
