This set of four postmodern dining chairs from Spain, dating to the 1980s, exemplifies the bold, sculptural forms characteristic of the era’s design. The construction skillfully juxtaposes materials: warm, honey-amber toned wood with a pronounced grain defines the large, triangular backrests and gently curved top rails, while slender, matte black metal legs and frames create a crisp architectural outline. The seats are upholstered in subtly textured, matte black faux leather, offering comfort and visual depth. Visible screw connections at the corners of the wooden panels highlight the industrial accent of the design, as the slightly splayed legs contribute to a dynamic, forward-leaning silhouette.
