This set of four wall lights from Limburg exemplifies German design of the late 1970s and early 1980s. Each lamp features a tall, cylindrical shade made of opaline glass in a matte white, softly diffused finish, ending in a gently rounded top. The base is crafted from highly polished chrome metal, providing a mirror-like, cool-toned accent in contrast to the satin glass. The lamps present a seamless facade, free from visible screws or fasteners on the front, highlighting the geometric simplicity and purity of form characteristic of modernism and Bauhaus. Their slender proportions (height 32.5 cm, width 7 cm, depth 9 cm) allow for a soft, ambient light to be evenly distributed. Each lamp retains its original manufacturer’s label and is preserved in excellent vintage condition, free from chips, cracks, or discoloration.
