This set of six glasses from the 1950s is a testament to German mid-century modern design, combining glass and brass in a cohesive blend of utility and ornament. Each clear, cylindrical glass is placed in a polished brass holder, the surface gleaming with a high-gloss, mirror-like finish that reflects its surroundings. The holders feature a bold geometric pattern of large, regularly spaced cut-outs, reinforcing the modernist character of the set. The elegantly curved handles, attached at both top and bottom, are made from the same polished brass. The rectangular tray, measuring 35 × 23 cm, has rounded corners, a mirrored glass surface, and a brass frame and handles. The tray displays minor spots on the mirror and patina on the metal parts, consistent with its age and authenticity. The entire set is in very good vintage condition, with only slight signs of use typical for original pieces from the 1950s.
