ABOUT PRODUCTID 5023
This set of five wine goblets, produced by the Józefina glassworks in Szklarska Poręba during the 1920s, exemplifies Central European Art Deco craftsmanship. Each goblet features a wide, flat base and a slender, subtly faceted stem with a discrete knop just below the bowl, all made of clear crystal glass. The bowls are crafted from vibrant, lime-green crystal with a cool, luminous tone and high color saturation, richly decorated with dense, hand-cut geometric and fan motifs that scatter light across the faceted surfaces. The glass has a glossy finish, enhancing the clarity and brilliance of the crystal. Each goblet measures approximately 16.5 cm in height and 8 cm in diameter. The set has been preserved in excellent condition, with no chips, cracks, or signs of wear. These goblets narrate the story of the interwar period, a time when Central European glassworks competed to achieve modern forms and saturated colors. The lime-green bowl, set atop a clear crystal base, evokes the spirit of sophisticated salons where geometric patterns and refracted light set the mood for urban elegance. The cut patterns echo Art Deco: precise
