This set of six 'Lotos' goblets is a distinguished example of 1970s Polish design, created by Professor Zbigniew Horbowy for the Huta Szkła Artystycznego 'Barbara' glassworks in Polanica-Zdrój. Each goblet is crafted from hand-blown, transparent glass in a vibrant lime-green hue, featuring a subtle gradient that shifts from saturated green at the base and stem to a lighter, almost yellow-green shade at the bowl. The goblets are defined by their elongated, slender stems and organically shaped bowls, reflecting a distinctly modernist, minimalist aesthetic. Proportions are meticulously balanced, with an architectural lightness emphasized by the wide, stable base. The glass surface is glossy and perfectly smooth, showing no signs of wear, chips, or clouding.
