ABOUT PRODUCTID 19820
This set of six moka spoons, produced around 1950 by the Swedish manufactory Nonne, embodies the modernist aesthetic of Scandinavian design from the 1950s. Each spoon is crafted from hallmarked 925 sterling silver and finished with a warm, lustrous gold plating. The handles are decorated with a smooth, glossy enamel in a palette of light yellow, mint green, powder blue, lilac, burgundy, and deep blue. The handles feature elongated, subtly flared geometry, with the tips adorned by delicate beaded edging — a testament to refined craftsmanship. Finely engraved details accentuate the junction between the handle and the bowl. Surfaces throughout appear perfectly preserved, with no signs of use or discoloration. The set remains in very good condition, free from restoration or visible wear. The forms of these petite utensils evoke the spirit of Nordic modernism and the optimism of the postwar era. The slender, multicolored handles recall a time when everyday beauty was sought in simplicity and subtle color. Each spoon speaks of a new epoch — with light catching on its gilded silver surface, pastel tones creating gentle contrasts. The presence of noble silver, tempered by the softness of enamel hues, tells of Scandinavian restraint and a delight in the small rituals of daily life, such as the serving of coffee. This set would lend itself well as a functional accent in a collector’s dining space or
