ABOUT PRODUCTID 9470
This set of six dining chairs, designed by Victor Wilkins for the esteemed British manufacturer G-Plan, was created in the 1960s. The chairs are constructed from solid teak wood with a medium brown hue and subtle golden-red tones. The wood features a satin finish that highlights the natural grain and depth of color. The seats are upholstered in a densely woven, high-quality fabric in a deep anthracite black with a smooth, matte texture. The backrests consist of three horizontal, gently curved slats for ergonomic support, while the round, tapered legs give the chairs a visually light silhouette. Discreet, precise joinery with no visible hardware and harmonious proportions emphasize the high standard of craftsmanship. The set is in excellent, fully restored condition—well-maintained wood surfaces, taut and fresh upholstery, and no visible signs of wear or damage. Within these forms, the voice of 1960s British modernism resonates: restraint in ornamentation, trust in material honesty
