This set of six Model 3101 'The Ant' chairs was designed by Arne Jacobsen and produced by Danish manufacturer Fritz Hansen in the 1970s. Each chair features a single-piece, cold-molded plywood seat and backrest in a cool azure blue with a subtle touch of green, finished in a semi-gloss lacquer that gently reflects light and reveals the underlying wood grain. The slender, chromed steel legs, polished to a mirror finish, end in black plastic glides that protect floors and ensure stability. The ergonomic, organic silhouette is distinctly mid-century modern, with seamless transitions between the seat and back. All chairs retain their minimalist character, original Fritz Hansen labels, and the 'Svendborg Gymnasium' brand burned into the backrest. The listed price applies to the complete set of six.
