This set of six dining chairs, Model 78 by Niels Otto Møller from the 1960s, is a distinguished example of Danish mid-century modern design. Crafted from solid mahogany in a deep, warm brown with a subtle semi-matte finish, the wood’s natural grain is highlighted throughout. The chairs feature slender, rounded legs and ladder-backrests with three horizontal slats, creating a light, balanced silhouette. Seats are upholstered in original aniline leather in two colorways: a creamy beige and a gently muted orange-beige, introducing subtle visual variety while maintaining overall harmony. The organic lines of the frame and the precise, invisible joinery underscore expert craftsmanship. The original upholstery has been preserved without reupholstering. The wooden structures are in very good condition, showing only minor scratches and slight wear typical of well-cared-for vintage furniture.
