The set of six Muszelka chairs from Bydgoska Fabryka Mebli originates from 1960s Poland and embodies the hallmarks of mid-century modern design. Each chair is constructed on four slender, outwardly splayed legs crafted from solid wood, stained in a light oak tone and finished with a smooth satin varnish that highlights the natural wood grain. Both seat and the distinctly rectangular backrest are upholstered in a matte olive green fabric with a soft, even texture; the lower part of the backrest features a shell-shaped cutout, lending lightness and a subtle organic reference to the form.
