This set of six dining chairs from the 1960s embodies Scandinavian modernism, focusing on organic forms and functional comfort. The frames are crafted from solid wood in a light honey-brown shade with a subtle golden hue, enhanced by a satin finish that accentuates the natural wood grain and provides a smooth, tactile surface. Each chair features a wide seat upholstered in original, finely ribbed cotton fabric in a salmon-beige, understatedly neutral tone. Distinctive elements include gently curved backrests, slender and slightly tapered legs, and precise, seamless joinery with no visible hardware. The proportions are carefully considered—low, ergonomic backrests and broad seats ensure comfort while maintaining an airy visual presence.
