This set of six Italian dining chairs from the 1950s exemplifies mid-century modern sensibility in its southern European interpretation. Crafted from solid wood in a warm, medium-brown tone with a semi-gloss finish, the frames highlight the natural grain and reflect the attention to detail for which Italian craftsmanship of the era is renowned. The design features strong, geometric lines with gently splayed and tapered legs, as well as subtly curved backrests, lending a sense of lightness and movement. The seats and backs are newly upholstered in smooth, matte beige skai, providing a calm contrast to the warmth of the wood. The upholstery is precisely fitted, with no visible tacks or staples, and all joinery is expertly concealed, ensuring a clean, uninterrupted silhouette. The ergonomic curve of the backrest and optimal seat height (45 cm) offer comfort, while the slender, angled legs reinforce the airy presence of the set.
