ABOUT PRODUCTID 41866
This set of six crystal glasses from the 1930s, attributed to the renowned Czech glassworks Moser, embodies the refined synthesis of Art Deco style and minimalist purity of form. Each glass features a gently rounded, lowball silhouette with a substantial, polished base, crafted from high-quality crystal in a transparent lemon hue. The subtle gradient of color, concentrated at the base and fading upwards to clarity, creates a sophisticated visual effect. The surface is sleek and highly polished, and the finely finished, undecorated rims emphasize the geometric simplicity characteristic of late Art Deco. The absence of visible seams or mold lines indicates careful hand finishing. Each glass measures 6.5 cm in height and 7 cm in diameter. The set is preserved in very good condition, with flawless surfaces—free from chips, scratches, or visible signs of use. These glasses evoke the spirit of an era that valued not only ornamentation, but also disciplined form and material excellence. The lemon-tinted crystal conjures images of sunlit mornings in 1930s modernist interiors, where light filters through the glass, casting a delicate network of reflections upon the table. Each piece seems to whisper of Prague salons where new ideas met: minimalism, geometry, a sensual approach to color—purity of form as a new measure of luxury. The set can be paired with classic porcelain from the period or with contemporary, simple tableware to create a dialogue between tradition and modernity. The glasses work well against dark wood or stone surfaces, where their crystal brilliance and yellow tone gain depth. They may serve as a highlight in a collector’s cabinet or be displayed on a minimalist tray, accentuating their timeless character. Interiors with a modernist, Art Deco, or contemporary eclectic spirit would provide a natural setting for these pieces.
