This set of six glasses, designed by Lucyna Pijaczewska for the 'Barbara' Artistic Glassworks in Polanica-Zdrój, exemplifies the distinctive character of 1970s Polish design. Each glass is crafted from soda-lime glass, featuring a fluid color transition from cool green at the base, through yellow-green tones in the middle, to an opaque, milky rim at the lip. The material is semi-transparent with a satin finish, giving the glasses a soft, diffused glow. The sculptural form, gently waisted with a pronounced ringed base, contributes a modernist expression, while the meticulously polished underside reflects artisanal precision. All pieces in the set are uniform in shape and size. The set is in very good condition, with no chips, cracks, or signs of wear.
