The set of six Rungstedlund chairs was created by Poul Jeppesen Møbelfabrik in Denmark, based on Ole Wanscher’s 1960s design. The structure is made of solid mahogany, stained to a rosewood tone and finished with a satin lacquer that reveals the wood grain and lends a subtle sheen. The seats are upholstered in matte black natural leather, offering a tactile contrast to the wooden frames. Notable features include gently curved backrests and tapered, slightly splayed legs. The joinery and transitions between elements are executed with precision, showcasing the craftsmanship of Danish mid-century furniture.
