ABOUT PRODUCTID 37570
This set of six soup spoons, produced by Bracia Henneberg in Warsaw during the 1930s, exemplifies the Polish interpretation of Art Deco in everyday tableware. Each spoon is crafted from white metal with a galvanic silver-plated finish, imparting a cool, silvery tone with a subtle warmth. The surfaces are predominantly glossy, with a soft sheen that transitions in places to a gentle matte effect due to natural use. The handles are adorned with characteristic Art Deco geometric ornamentation: elongated, faceted forms with symmetrical relief patterns, ending in stylized floral or foliate motifs. The proportions are balanced, with slender, gently tapering handles flowing seamlessly into deep, oval bowls. The construction is solid, with smooth transitions between the elements and no visible joints. The set is in very good vintage condition—minor surface scratches and a delicate patina reflect its age, but there are no significant damages or repairs. All decorative elements remain original and well preserved. The listed price refers to the complete set of six pieces. These spoons echo the voice of Polish modernism of the 1930s: a narrative of bringing elegance and order to daily rituals. The restrained ornamentation hints at an optimistic belief in progress and the idea that art should accompany everyday life. Their silvery shimmer conjures images of Warsaw dining rooms and home gatherings, where each detail was a conscious choice. Every spoon seems to whisper stories of bygone table conversations, where function and style were thoughtfully
