This set of six stemmed glasses, designed by Zbigniew Horbowy for the 'Barbara' Artistic Glassworks in Polanica Zdrój, dates from the 1970s. Each glass is crafted from mass-colored soda-lime glass, featuring a distinctive gradient of green: from a deep, saturated hue at the base and along the slender stem, to a lighter, translucent tone in the gently flared bowl. The surface is smooth and glossy, with no visible imperfections. The design reflects mid-century modern aesthetics, with balanced proportions, wide and stable bases, and a subtly angular transition between the bowl and stem. The set is preserved in very good condition, with no chips, cracks, or signs of wear.These glasses embody the spirit of 1970s Polish modernism—a utilitarian object that speaks to experimentation with color and light.
