This set of three ceramic ashtrays from Germany, dating to the 1970s, encapsulates the spirit of mid-century modern in a compact, collectible form. Each ashtray features a square silhouette with softly rounded corners and a single, integrated cigarette rest. The ceramic surface is coated in a matte glaze of warm off-white, while the interiors are adorned with a decorative pattern of abstract leaves and branches in muted tones of yellow, green, and grey, punctuated with subtle hints of orange. The motif is rendered in a stippled, almost pointillist technique typical of the era. The rims are outlined by a hand-painted dark brown line, lending clarity and contrast to the form.
