A set of three chairs from Northern Europe, dating from around 1900, embodies the refined historicist style characteristic of the turn of the 19th and 20th centuries. The structure is crafted from dark, richly stained wood with a semi-gloss finish, featuring gently curved lines that highlight late Biedermeier and early Art Nouveau influences: cabriole front legs and subtly arched crest rails define the silhouette. The seats and backs are newly upholstered in a salmon-pink fabric, adorned with a repeating scallop motif in soft beige and gold tones.
