The set of three 'Cyntia' vases is a classic example of Polish artistic glass from the 1970s, designed by Zbigniew Horbowy and produced at the 'Barbara' Artistic Glassworks in Polanica-Zdrój, part of the Inwald Glassworks. These vases are crafted from cased, mass-colored sodium glass with a striking gradient: a vivid, warm red smoothly transitions into a fiery orange-yellow at the neck and rim. The forms are rooted in the spirit of mid-century modern design—bold, geometric, with softly rounded walls and short cylindrical bases. Two vases are more slender (16 × 9.5 × 9.5 cm), while the third features a fuller silhouette (16 × 14 × 14 cm). The surface is glossy and highly reflective, with thick glass and seamless color transitions underscoring the craftsmanship of the Polish glassmaking tradition.
