This set of three hand-painted Kokeshi dolls exemplifies mid-20th-century Japanese folk craftsmanship. Each wooden doll displays distinctive coloration and ornamentation: the leftmost wears a deep black kimono with a yellow center and cream-yellow floral patterns; the other two are adorned in vivid red – the central doll with white, asterisk-like flowers, the rightmost with cream blossoms accented by green dots.
