This set of three modular library bookcases, produced by Danish manufacturer Sibast in the 1970s, exemplifies the principles of Scandinavian modernism. The construction is based on three vertical segments made of rosewood veneer, featuring a distinctive, warm wood grain and a semi-gloss finish that reveals the natural depth and texture. Each module’s lower section consists of closed cabinets, while the upper part alternates between open shelves and glass-fronted display cases with clear glass set in matching rosewood frames. Discreet details—small, square rosewood handles and matte silver metal connectors—emphasize the unity and modular character of the ensemble. The interiors are equipped with adjustable shelves, pull-out drawers, and file dividers, offering flexible organization.
