This set of three nesting tables from Lotos, dating to the 1960s, is a testament to Scandinavian modernism in its German interpretation. Each table is constructed with care: a solid wood frame, veneered top with a solid walnut edge, and legs in beech or walnut, all finished in a warm, medium walnut brown with a subtle reddish hue. The dimensions — 68 × 40 × 57 cm, 55 × 35 × 54 cm, and 44 × 30 × 52 cm — allow the tables to slide seamlessly under one another. The satin finish highlights the even wood grain; gently rounded corners and slender, tapered legs give the ensemble a visual lightness characteristic of mid-century modern aesthetics.
