ABOUT PRODUCTID 36190
This set of three nesting tables from the 1970s exemplifies the minimalist design language characteristic of the mid-century modern era. The construction combines tubular chromed steel frames in a cool, silvery tone with clear glass tops that have a smooth, polished finish. Each table features a rectangular shape with softly rounded corners, and the gently curved legs form a seamless, fluid line. The tables nest neatly under one another, emphasizing their practical, space-saving function or allowing each to be used individually. The chrome surfaces display minor scratches and a subtle patina, while the glass tops remain clear with only minimal traces of use. The set is preserved in good vintage condition, with natural signs of age typical for original 1970s furniture. These tables speak of the 1970s—a period when functional simplicity met the bold use of metal and glass. Each piece seems to echo the modernist optimism of its era: the cool chromed surfaces reflect ambient light, while the transparent glass tops let the room breathe. These are pieces that choose subtlety over dominance, creating a quiet rhythm and leaving space for personal stories and daily rituals. The trio can be styled as a cohesive group beside a sofa in the living room or split up—one serving as a coffee table, another as a side table near an armchair, and the third by a bookshelf. They pair well with upholstered furniture of clean lines and with mid-century modern accessories: a metal-shaded lamp, a geometric rug, or matte ceramic decor. In more eclectic interiors, they can be contrasted with softer textures or bold color accents to highlight the interplay between glass and metal. The set encourages flexible arrangements, easily adapting to changing needs and the dynamic function of the space. The listed price refers to the complete set of three tables, sold exclusively as a set.
