This set of three nesting tables from the 1950s represents German mid-century modern design, combining clarity of form with the functionalism typical of the era. Each table is constructed from solid cherry wood with a matte finish that accentuates the natural grain and reddish-brown hue. The tabletops are finished with original Formica laminate in light grey and white, subtly contrasting with the warmth of the wood. The cherry-edged tops, slender straight legs, gently rounded corners, and visible mortise and tenon joints with reinforcing crossbars all emphasize precise craftsmanship and stability. The largest table measures 67 × 49 × 65 cm, with the two smaller tables (60 × 46 × 62 cm and 52 × 43 × 59 cm) nesting perfectly beneath it, enabling flexible use and space saving. The construction is sturdy and well-executed, with no signs of damage or heavy wear. The set is preserved in very good, professionally restored condition, with all original elements carefully maintained.
