The set of three Trylon wall sconces, designed by Gilles Derrain, exemplifies Italian postmodernism from the 1980s. Each lamp features an elongated, tapered silhouette ending in a pointed tip, crafted from lacquered metal in a warm, ivory-white hue. Subtle beige tonal gradients near the tips provide visual depth and transition, enhancing the smooth, glossy finish. Discreet cylindrical supports, round bases, and invisible joints underscore the architectural lightness and geometric clarity characteristic of the era. The distinctly modernist form is accentuated by a sculptural presence, with each sconce functioning both as practical lighting and as a statement piece. They are fitted with E14 halogen bulbs for functional illumination.
