This set of two decorative pressed glass vases, designed by Wayne Husted for the Italian manufacturer Stelvia in the 1960s, embodies the essence of mid-century modern glasswork. The vases stand out with their deep, saturated emerald green hue and pronounced textured surfaces featuring raised organic motifs, creating a dynamic interplay of light and shadow. The larger vase (37 × 16 × 12 cm) rests on a twisted, transparent stem that contrasts with the solid green bowl, lending a sculptural accent to the composition. The smaller piece (20 × 20 × 9 cm) takes the form of a jug with a wide body and short neck, completed by a clear, ribbed handle with a spiral texture and visible artisanal joints, emphasizing the handcrafted nature of the design.
