ABOUT PRODUCTID 37943
The “Laxy” lounge set by Danish manufacturer Skipper and Pollux comprises two armchairs and two original ottomans, produced in the 1970s. The design features lightweight, bent frames in stained, honey-brown wood with a smooth, semi-matte finish that accentuates the natural grain. Both the seats and backrests are suspended on an elastic mesh, lending the set a harmonious, airy profile typical of Scandinavian modernism. Upholstery in a deep brick red velour, matte in texture, covers the seats, backs, armrests, and headrests, with subtle tufting adding visual and tactile depth. Visible metal connectors and hardware in a muted silver finish introduce a modern accent and reinforce the structure, while overall proportions remain balanced: wide, supportive seats, high, gently reclined backrests, and generously sized ottomans offer comfort and functionality. The set is in very good condition, showing age-appropriate signs such as minor wear and creasing to the upholstery. No major damage is apparent, and all components appear original. The price refers to the entire set: two armchairs and two ottomans.“Laxy” embodies the spirit of the 1970s, when Scandinavian modernism balanced function and lightness. The bentwood frames and velour upholstery speak of a concern
