ABOUT PRODUCTID 37860
This set comprises two distinct Danish ceramic vases from the 1960s, each exemplifying a different artistic approach and mid-century craftsmanship. The first vase, signed by Vensø Danmark, features a cylindrical silhouette with a gently flared rim. Its surface is adorned with a hand-painted landscape in cool, subdued hues—soft blue, muted green, sandy beige, and warm brown—characterized by visible brushstrokes and a matte, watercolor-like finish. The second vase, an example of Danish studio pottery, stands out with its sculptural, organic form, a pronounced narrowing near the top, and a subtly flared base. The upper section is glazed in glossy, multicolored tones of green, blue, and brown, decorated with abstract, almost tribal ornament. The lower part remains beige with a semi-matte finish, enriched by expressive strokes of blue and white. Both vases are preserved in very good condition, free from cracks or chips, with only minor signs of age-appropriate wear. The listed price refers to the set of two vases. These vases evoke the spirit of Danish modernism, a time when craftsmanship and artistic sensibility met in everyday objects. The slender form and cool palette of the signed piece recall the tranquility of Scandinavian landscapes, as if a fragment of northern nature had been captured in clay.
