This Danish modular shelving unit from the 1960s embodies the clarity and practicality characteristic of Scandinavian modernism. Crafted from teak veneer, its structure features vertical supports with pronounced wood grain in a warm, medium brown tone with a subtle reddish cast. The finish is matte to satin, accentuating the natural grain and lending a gentle sheen to the surface. The upper section offers four open shelves, while the lower consists of two contrasting modules: on the left, a cabinet with four drawers and sculpted wooden handles, and on the right, a drop-down bar compartment (lock missing), an open shelf, and two smaller drawers with matte black fronts and teak handles, providing a subtle visual accent. Visible metal shelf supports and dowel joints emphasize the system’s modularity and height adjustability.
