This modular shelving system, designed by John Texmon and Einar Blindheim for Blindheim Mobelfabrikk in Norway, is a quintessential example of Scandinavian mid-century modernism from the 1960s. The construction comprises three vertical sections supported by slender, subtly splayed legs and uprights with visible adjustment holes for shelf placement. Crafted from teak veneer in a warm, medium brown shade with a faint reddish hue, the piece boasts a satin-matte finish that accentuates the natural wood grain. The central section features four drawers with round, recessed wooden pulls and a cabinet with sliding doors, while the side modules include cabinets with sliding doors and open shelving above, all unified by minimalist, circular handles.
