ABOUT PRODUCTID 35436
This auxiliary table from Denmark, dating from the 1950s, is a quintessential example of Bauhaus-inspired functionalism. Its construction features a lightweight, openwork frame of tubular metal in a cool, matte light grey. The rectangular top, crafted from teak wood, displays a warm, medium brown tone with a prominent wood grain and a satin-matte finish. A subtly raised edge around the tabletop highlights the table's practical character, helping to prevent objects from sliding off. The legs, gently rounded at the corners and joined by crossbars and a diagonal support for stability, are complemented by four small casters in black and chrome, allowing for easy movement. The table includes a fold-out extension leaf and a reversible top, increasing its versatility – suitable as a side table, serving trolley, or compact desk. Minor signs of use are visible: light scratches, subtle patina, and slight scuffs on the wood and metal, yet the piece remains in very good, original condition, freshly refreshed. The listed price refers to one item.
