This mid-century side table, designed by Severin Hansen for the Danish manufacturer Haslev in the 1950s, exemplifies Scandinavian minimalism and functionalism of the era. Crafted from a harmonious blend of teak and beech, the tabletop and frame reveal a warm, medium brown tone with a subtle reddish hue, complemented by a satin-matte finish that highlights the natural grain. The slender, tapered legs with sharply mitered corners are a hallmark of Hansen’s work, reflecting meticulous craftsmanship.
