This German Art Deco sideboard embodies the craftsmanship of the 1930s and 1940s, crafted in wood with a striking, highly figured veneer in warm, medium to dark brown tones. The front panels display a symmetrical, almost mirrored grain pattern, accented by subtle vertical grooves at the edges and original brass hardware and keyholes. The structure stands on wide, sculptural plinth feet that provide a sense of visual weight and stability, while rounded corners and edges, along with a flat top featuring a raised gallery at the back, are characteristic of late Art Deco design. Three front doors conceal a spacious interior with solid wood drawers, constructed with mortise and tenon joinery.
