ABOUT PRODUCTID 28329
This 1960s sideboard, attributed to Wilhelm Renz, is a pure expression of German modernism. The body is crafted from teak veneer in a warm, medium brown tone with a subtle reddish hue, set on four slender, square-section legs in matte black steel. The front features sliding doors made of clear glass, each fitted with a circular cut-out handle, emphasizing the minimalist and functional character of the piece. Inside, two teak-veneered shelves provide ample space for storage and display. The surface is smooth, with a pronounced, consistent wood grain, complemented by robust solid wood edging. The proportions are balanced, and the finishing details demonstrate meticulous craftsmanship. The sideboard has been carefully restored and is preserved in very good condition—there are no visible signs of heavy use, damage, or restoration marks.
