This sideboard, designed by Bertil Fridhagen and produced by Swedish manufacturer Bodafors in the 1970s, exemplifies mature Scandinavian modernism. The body is finished in a richly saturated, medium-brown teak veneer with subtle, natural wood grain—its faint reddish undertone adds depth and character. Four solid, rounded wooden legs, stained deep black, provide a striking contrast and elevate the piece slightly above the floor. The proportions are harmonious, and the doors open via discreet cut-outs along the top edge, a nod to the region’s minimalist tradition. Inside, a spacious, height-adjustable shelf and four drawers offer practical storage and organizational versatility. The lock is fully functional with the key included. The surface has been refreshed; only minor signs of use such as small scratches and edge wear are visible, typical for authentic vintage furniture in very good condition.
