Designed by Nils Jonsson for Troeds Bjärnum in Sweden during the 1960s, this sideboard is a classic example of Scandinavian mid-century modernism rendered in functional, understated form. The 253 cm-long, 78 cm-high body is crafted from teak wood, showcasing a warm, medium brown hue and pronounced natural grain accentuated by a satin-matte finish. The composition includes four central drawers with horizontal, integrated wooden handles, a cabinet with sliding doors on the left, and a drop-down bar compartment on the right, both fitted with square, recessed pulls. Slender, square legs joined by a horizontal stretcher give the piece a light, floating appearance. The craftsmanship is evident in the precise joinery and seamless integration of handles and doors. This sideboard has undergone a full restoration and is finished with high-quality Danish oil. Condition: restored, with no visible signs of wear or repairs; all elements appear authentic and original.
