This large highboard, produced by Drevotvar Pardubice in 1960s Czechoslovakia, is a quintessential example of Central European Mid-Century Modern design. The piece features a striking rectangular silhouette supported by subtly tapered legs, which lend lightness to its impressive dimensions (150 cm wide, 162 cm high, up to 45 cm deep). The warm, honey-toned oak veneer with a semi-matte finish highlights the natural grain, running both vertically and horizontally.
