ABOUT PRODUCTID 30392
Model 13 sideboard is the work of Gunni Omann for the Danish manufacturer Omann Jun, created in the 1960s—a noteworthy example of Scandinavian mid-century modern design. Crafted from solid teak and teak veneer, it displays a rich, warm brown hue with a subtle reddish undertone, accentuated by a pronounced wood grain pattern. The balanced, rectangular form rests on a narrow, rounded base with signature tapered, outward-angled legs, lending a sense of lightness. Four sliding doors with sculpted triangular handles reveal interior shelving and six drawers, with adjustable and fully removable shelves for flexible storage. Two wide drawers at the bottom offer additional space. The finish ranges from satin to semi-gloss, enhancing the natural structure of the wood, while precise construction—marked by seamless joints and the absence of visible hardware—embodies Danish minimalism. The sideboard has undergone a thorough restoration, stripped of old finishes and treated with premium Danish oil. Its condition is excellent: no visible damage or signs of wear, a freshly oiled surface, and all elements authentic and original to the era
