This mahogany sideboard, produced in the 1970s by the Danish manufacturer Omann Jun (Model No. 2), is a fine example of Scandinavian mid-century modern design. The construction features solid wood legs and a mahogany wood veneer in a deep, warm brown hue. Delicate, vertical grain adds expressive texture, while the semi-matte finish with a gentle sheen enhances the wood’s natural appeal. Four slightly tapered solid wood legs, set at a subtle angle, are finished in a lighter shade of brown than the body, emphasizing the proportions of the piece. The sideboard includes four spacious drawers, seamlessly integrated into the front via discreet horizontal grooves that serve as handles. The design is minimalist, with no visible hardware, and the craftsmanship is evident in the smooth surfaces and precise joinery. Two cable management holes are located at the back, and one drawer features a hidden locking mechanism.
