This sideboard from Poland’s PRL era, manufactured in 1968 by Meblostyl Dobrodzień, exemplifies the robust design language of the 1960s. The body is crafted from mansonia walnut veneer and plywood, featuring cabinet fronts arranged in a pronounced chevron pattern. A semi-matte lacquer finish highlights the wood’s grain without overwhelming gloss. The layout includes three spacious central drawers and two side cabinets for ample storage. The top doubles as a bench, padded with high-quality foam and upholstered in deep navy blue velvet, accented with crystal-style button tufting.
