This small majolica vase, crafted in the 1920s by Lorenzo Rubboli in Gualdo Tadino, Italy, exemplifies Italian ceramic artistry inspired by Renaissance revival. The dominant hue is a warm, golden ochre, covered with a glossy, subtly iridescent glaze. Hand-painted decorations in deep cobalt blue, terracotta red, and white form stylized leaf and geometric patterns encircling the body and neck. A single ochre handle with delicate brown striping accentuates the classic proportions: a rounded body, slender neck, and a harmoniously balanced base with a 6 cm diameter. At the base, a subtle lattice motif appears in muted ochre and blue. The surface is smooth and glossy, with visible brushwork in the painted details. The vase is signed. It remains in very good condition—with only minor chips visible on the upper rim, and no significant signs of restoration. All elements are original and true to the period.
