This cylindrical snuff box, dating from around 1890–1900 and most likely of Belgian origin, is crafted from guilloché and gilded bronze, exemplifying the refined decorative arts of its era. The body bears a warm antique gold tone with a matte, subtly satin finish and gentle patina, enhanced by a fine, wavy guilloché pattern that adds a tactile and visual texture. The lid, set on a precisely fitted hinge, is adorned with a domed insert of deep cobalt blue enamel, highly glossy and saturated. The enamel is decorated with an intricate, stylized botanical motif featuring clover and other elements in a lighter blue, creating a delicate contrast. The rim of the lid is finished with a fine beaded border. Both the clasp and hinge are fully functional, and the base bears a maker’s mark. The box measures 1.6 cm in height and 5.2 cm in diameter. It is in good antique condition, with minor scratches and small areas of wear consistent with age, but no major damage or restoration.Within this compact object lies the spirit of the Belle Époque and Art Nouveau sensibility.
