This Belgian soda siphon, produced in the 1950s or 60s, exemplifies the classic construction of the mid-century modern era. Its transparent cylindrical glass body is enclosed in a metal mesh painted a delicate mint green. The diamond-patterned mesh not only protects the glass but also provides a secure grip, adding a distinct visual rhythm. Around the upper third of the bottle, a bold orange-red horizontal band introduces a vibrant accent, breaking up the cool mint tones.
